Universal Orlando Amidst Covid-19
Since being quarantined in the house for about 3 months, this past June we decided to stay at Universal Orlando’s Cabana Bay Resort for my son’s 13th birthday for a little change of scenery. Check out some of the precautions that they have set in place upon arrival.
Before entering everyone in your party must be wearing a mask and have their temperature checked.
Once your temperature is checked and you are clear they will put a wristband on you to let them know that you have been checked for the day. Each day is a different color so that they can know whose temperature needs to be checked on that specific day.
Even before COVID-19 I ALWAYS traveled with a can of Lysol and sprayed the entire suite that my family and I would stay in. My continued sanitation habits are just a bit more overboard now to ensure the safety of my family.
My 13 year old baby!!
They had a great time!
TV remote was covered in a plastic wrap.
They welcome you with your name on the TV when you enter.
They have the BEST lazy river and allow only a certain number of people at a time to ensure distance from one another.
We enjoyed dinner at Universal CityWalk.
They check baggage and temperatures as well upon arrival at City Walk.
The resort has a bowling alley in it. It was definitely a hit with the kids! They sanitize the bowling balls after each use.
As you can see it was pretty empty with a lot less travelers than normal. We weren’t complaining.
